Silencio, LKF

Mar 26, 2020

Opened last year in place of our old beloved Lily & Bloom, Silencio is a trendy and modern Japanese restaurant with a jazzy atmosphere. We been there for dinner first and then for the free flow brunch and both were nice experience – even if I had a preference for the dinner atmosphere and options.

When we went there for dinner, we mainly focused on the traditional sushis / maki / sashimi options first. Those were really tasty and the menu offers a wide range of options. The specialy of the restaurant is their waygu beef sandwich. Topped with a touch of mayonnaise and – if I remember well – truffles, they were just excellent!

The visual presentation of the dishes is well thought and delicate. Even the jazzy atmosphere and the outlet decoration which focuses on black / grey / gold tones delighted me. To go further, we even ordered a bottle of Sake thanks to Apolline who knows a little bit about this special spirit.

The free-flow brunch optiom was a little bit less “wahou” to me. The champagne is Moet. The Jazzakaya brunch lets you enjoy unlimited seafood, tempura and yakitori, followed by a choice of main course and signature desserts. I found that the sushi and sashimi selections were a little bit limited. I took the main dish with waygu beef which was excellent and special note for the refined dessert plate to share.
